What is the pricing model?
Most engagements start with a fixed-fee scoping sprint (typically 2 weeks) that produces an architecture, AI feasibility report, and build estimate. Build engagements are time-and-materials with a defined cap, or fixed-fee for tightly scoped work. AI-heavy engagements often run T&M because token costs and model evaluation cycles are inherently variable. Most production AI builds land in the USD 400K–3M range over the first year.
Who actually does the work?
Senior engineers and ML leads — the same people you meet in your kickoff call. No account managers, no offshore handoffs, no junior developers cutting their teeth on your project. For specialized needs (specific domain expertise, niche infrastructure) we bring in trusted partners we have worked with before. A typical delivery team pairs a senior engineer, an ML lead, and a product partner.
How fast can you ship a proof of concept and a production system?
Proof of concept: 2 to 4 weeks. We prioritize the riskiest assumption first — usually a model evaluation against your data — and validate it before committing to a full build. First production system: 90 days from kickoff for most engagements, compared to 12 to 36 months for Big-Four programs of similar scope. Multi-quarter platforms continue with retainer or staffing arrangements after the initial launch.
